Diabetes is
also known as Blood Sugar (glucose). It
is a long-lasting condition that influences how our body turns food into energy.
Most of the food we eat is broken down into sugar and released into our
bloodstream.

“Obesity and Inactive lifestyle” are two
common factors of Diabetes. These are responsible for about 90% to 95%.
Except for these
factors Hypertension, Continuously high use of Sugar(glucose) are also causes
of Diabetes.
Type
1 Diabetes:
It is caused
by an autoimmune reaction that stops the body from making insulin. About 5% to 10%
are victims of this type. This type is quickly developed. It’s normally diagnosed
in children, adults. To survive this type, it is necessary to take
insulin.
Type
2 Diabetes:
In this type, insulin can’t keep blood sugar at a normal level.
Approximately 90% to 95% are affected by this type. It develops over many years
& is usually diagnosed in adults. Type 2 diabetes can be prevented with
healthy lifestyle changes such as losing weight, eating healthy food, &
being active.
Gestational Diabetes:
It is mostly found in pregnant women who
never had diabetes. If there is gestational diabetes in pregnant women, there
could be a higher risk for the baby. It finished after baby delivery.
