Hijab
Hijab is a beautiful symbol of your Muslim faith, however, sometimes its use can be misunderstood as the expression of culture and tradition, or even religious pride.
The Muslim world is diverse, but there is one main factor that defines its culture and beliefs: the veil.
The Muslim women wear their headscarves (Peshwari) in public and when they go to pray in mosques, these cover all their bodies except for her shoulders. In some cases, they cover the lower part of their bodies, in some cases the parts of their face that show up for their hair, ears, and eyes, which are not covered at all. The veil is a long garment made with a string of pearls called burqas, it represents faithfulness and loyalty to God. The top half is usually made from the finest materials, and many people choose to have it painted onto their heads, while other Muslims also cover their upper and back parts of the shoulder with a white cloth called keffiyeh in honor of Prophet Muhammad. With this comes a special meaning for each Muslim, depending on what religion they are following and where they come from. This is why we saw the first Muslim woman wearing the veil, Nazarene, who was said to be the first person to live out of Mecca, and who was known as the patroness of the mosque. But there is always a debate about whether it should remain at the front of the Muslim woman’s wardrobe or if she should put it down a little and let the rest of the world appreciate its uniqueness. Let’s take a look at how the hijab comes into being and more importantly how you can decide whether to follow its traditions or to make the Muslim world your home and start practicing its traditions without any fear of discrimination.
Hijab is a symbol of faithfulness
We all know that when a Muslim woman puts the veil over her head she becomes closer to God and closer to Allah because she now believes that the Muslim women’s actions are his will and that they will be rewarded according to his word. If she follows these rules she follows God, no matter who she is or which country she lives in. The Muslim woman may even be forbidden if she does something against the laws of Islam, like wearing an earring or a necklace of any kind, which is against the law. However, the Muslim man will not forbid a girl from being married and following her husband’s wishes because he knows that they are both faithful to God and their husbands and he will be able to reward them accordingly. If she were disobedient she would not be given a place in heaven. The most important thing is that she knows that they are her husband’s friends and she wants to give him the best possible advice and support, and therefore she takes it upon herself.
Hijab protects the modesty of Muslim women
Some Muslim women do not want to be seen in their daily life in a bikini or niqab. They want to be seen wearing their traditional clothing, like an abaya. In our society, we see so many people in a bikini and they think that they are perfect, but how they are looking good because they put on makeup and get ready for work in a certain way when they are at the office, they don't care about what time it is and how they look when they come home because they are faithful to the law and God. One thing that we hear from my own family is that whenever I go to meet someone I always wear my abaya, just like the Muslim women, they believe that wearing their abaya protects the modesty of Muslim women and that it is a very personal choice, they make for themselves, so if they don't wear it, then God forces them to. I remember at the age of 19 when I was getting married, I wore the nouveau-fairytale that Muslim women used to be given as child brides, this is why the veil became one of the most important symbols of Muslim men's faithfulness. It doesn’t mean that Muslim women don’t understand the law, they just don’t want to be looked at in any way, and wearing the veil it protects the modesty of Muslim women, as well as prevents harassment, discrimination, and abuse that might occur.
Hijab promotes modesty of Muslim women
The Muslim woman wears two long pieces of silk, known as veils, over their entire body except for one arm and this is to protect the modesty of Muslim women, as well as to prevent any evil deeds, such as showing affection towards another woman because the hijab acts as a shield between the Muslim woman and her husband, who thinks he is safe. Women wear different kinds of veils depending on the kind of dress they want to wear, so they wear three different types of veils: those made of silk and polythene, those with gauze and a lace finish, and those with a pure cotton blend. Muslim women chose a special type and design of scarf called hajib, which translates to “covering of the head and shoulders,” and it represents the modesty of Muslim women. All of these veils are available online, and the easiest of them is the plain one, which is a long, straight piece of fabric, with three layers of material, similar to a modern-day robe, and is generally quite cheap compared to the ones which cost thousands of dollars. There are lots of different brands of hijab, but the popular brand is the Hijab, it represents Muslim women and their modesty and faithfulness and is sold under various names worldwide. Today Hijab is worn by all Muslims around the world regardless of their ethnicity, gender, or creed.
Hijab promotes modesty of Muslim men
There is a clear difference between the modesty of Muslim men and the modesty of Muslim women, but it’s all the same, men have the right to do whatever they want. To achieve this he uses a lot of prayers, fasting, and fasting, but in Muslim men, it’s not the obligatory thing, although they are supposed to fast during Ramadan the Koran is a clear command that both men and women must observe. Men can wear anything permissible, and if they don’t, God won’t allow both men and women to be together anywhere. A Muslim man is allowed to wear a white kaffiyeh (a jacket), but a Muslim woman is supposed to wear a traditional garment called a burqa, which means that she covers only her hands, arms, and neck, and not her head. This is one thing that makes Muslim men different from women, it helps prevent violence, hate crimes, and sexual assault. When it comes to his modesty there is no doubt that Muslim men will always be more conservative than women, and they should always wear the veil, otherwise, they risk getting reprimanded or even killed.
Hijab encourages modesty of Muslim women
Hijab encourages modesty and respect for Islamic women and is a symbol of honor and respect, and for many Muslim women, this is an essential thing. At least it gives Muslim women some protection and security and it makes them feel safe when she is traveling. We all know the story of the widow whose husband died and who ended up burying herself and her children. Her husband was an elderly man but he had never tried to hide his modesty. Every Muslim woman wants to grow in confidence and become more confident and self-assured, without ever wanting to let anyone see it. But it is a huge mistake to be too proud of yourself and to think that you deserve to be treated like everyone else. There is nothing wrong with respecting your husband or wife, and they are supposed to respect you and that’s what makes a relationship strong. So it is very important to learn the Koran and to respect your husband and wife, just the thing that keeps Islamists together.
Hijab teaches Muslim women to value their husbands
Women need to get used to the idea that it is acceptable for men to follow their wives around, and they should respect them, because it doesn’t mean that they should not give attention to their husbands and not to their jobs, but it does mean that women should respect their husbands more often. Of course, it is an essential role of a wife but sometimes men forget that their wives want to be loved, and respect them, they also don’t realize how much it means to be respected. For example, if a woman has a bad habit of smoking cigarettes she gets punished quickly, and maybe her wife tries to quit but the woman is afraid that he is going to kill himself and they both hide their faces and don’t talk about it. On the other hand, if a woman smokes marijuana and later dies of cancer, nobody in the family ever talks about it. In Muslim communities, they should follow each other’s lead, but in general, men are more likely to smoke. Not all Muslims share the view that women should smoke only at weekends, but it is a sin to smoke while fasting.
Hijab teaches Muslim women to keep their values, love their husbands, respect themselves, and pray.
Hijab teaches girls to respect their Husbands and Daughters
In Muslim families, the role of the husband is not so significant, and this role is passed on to the sons. Although in modern-day situations, many wives consider their husbands important, this is still the situation that Muslim women live in many countries around the world.
