Relaxing with Naturally

 Relaxing with Naturally

We live in a super busy world, with our work and families. Our minds are stuffed with more than we can keep up; it’s hard enough for us to get to sleep and stay asleep, let alone stay away from our devices. What’s worse is that we don’t stop at just getting a good night’s rest. Some of the most common causes of insomnia are anxiety and depression. Many people struggle with mental health and depression as well as social anxiety. Social media overload also contributes heavily to mental health problems. Even if we have a healthy mind and body, there is no denying that we can still be affected by our daily routines, from working out to eating what we like. The solution here is natural because there are lots of things like breathing techniques and healthy eating that can help with keeping you rested. If however, you find yourself being irritable and even negative about everything and anything then I have some suggestions for you. Below are some ways of taking care of your mind and body. While these suggestions may seem extreme or radical, I have found them very effective in dealing with my stress and depression. These techniques also help me feel better overall so it makes sense that they would be for everyone. Keep reading to see.

 1. Learn to Breathe

This one is for all of those who want to learn how to breathe. There are plenty of tutorials online and books on youtube. Some even recommend learning this very complex technique. However, I prefer taking classes on Youtube. To start, try going through the breath at least once every day for 3 weeks. It will probably take you a couple of weeks to master but by the time you do, you should be able to control your breathing at any given moment. This is particularly important when you are exercising or working out at home or office.

2. Focus

This one seems easy, isn’t it? Just focus your mind and keep your eyes open. Try not to think about anything around you. Don’t worry about anything like traffic or other cars and you’ll soon forget all about it. When you need to concentrate go back to the previous point, look straight into your eye. Look directly into your own eyes, even during meditation, that’s how much concentration you require to keep your mind focused and concentrated.

3. Eat Healthy and Stay Hydrated

As mentioned previously, stress and diabetes often come hand in hand. Excessive drinking or overindulging in junk food can put someone in poor shape. A person might end up feeling tired and frustrated, as well as feeling like they need to rest. Not only does this leave their body and mind exhausted, but it also puts them at higher risk for developing diseases and illnesses, which in turn lead to further complications. So, make sure to eat less sugar and processed foods. Also, make sure to drink lots of water and consume lots of green vegetables and fruits.

4. Exercise Regularly

Regular exercise is known to have many benefits. People generally feel healthier when they exercise regularly. One example of regular exercise is walking. Walking is an excellent workout and is a good alternative to running. Even while exercising, many people enjoy listening to music. They tend to sit down, stretch and get comfortable, listening to songs, or any type of noise that gives them an outlet. For someone unable to reach such heights, they can use bikes and stationery that allows them to alternate between sitting and moving at the convenience of their own volition. Sometimes they can get even more out of their workout sessions by using yoga poses. Most importantly, the best way to burn calories is to eat healthily and have a balanced diet, preferably including lots of healthy protein.

5. Sleep On Rooftops Over Bed or Under

This is extremely obvious, but why is it overlooked? You don’t need to spend hours upon hours under you, especially if it is cold outside. You can lie down and sleep if it gets too cold, such as in winter. But the main thing to remember is that it is okay to curl up beneath the blankets and you won’t wake up feeling any ill after a day or two. Sleeping in the snow is considered quite normal. That said, you still have to move around outside of the bed to maintain the temperature. Sleeping on a mattress next to a blanket is a great idea as it can provide warmth and comfort.

6. Meditate

Again, another method of keeping a positive mindset. Meditation can give you a boost during stressful moments. Many people find themselves suffering from depression and anxiety and they rely solely on medication. It usually helps the medication but the downside is that it wears off quickly and a person starts to feel even worse after some time has passed. Meditation provides an alternative solution. It feels good to meditate at regular intervals. You can find simple and effective tips for meditation on YouTube.

7. Wash Your Hair Daily

One of the easiest and most common habits to break down is washing. Washing is important for maintaining physical appearance, hair, and skin. A dirty scalp can make a person look unkempt and unattractive. Furthermore, washing is important to prevent infection and germs. It is recommended that people who are sick avoid getting clean-shaven, shaving, or any kind of barbing. Cleaning your hands is essential and you must wash them after every meal. Doing so prevents germs from entering your system and spreading through the air.
